Wow, I am so so so impressed with all the neat things you are doing this summer!! My puppies are excited to hear about all you are doing too!!!
Conrad, you have been a very busy boy and I am so impressed with all the neat things you are doing. The beach you went to sounds beautiful and the sand sounds magical! I went and saw the movie Up in 3D too. Did you like it? I thought it was really good!! Keep up the good work, Conrad, I'm so proud of you!!
Katherine, it sounds like you are having a great summer too!! The book you just finished sounded like a good one. Do you have another book ready to start? I would recommend getting into some Nancy Drew boys if you want a good mystery. I used to really like reading the Lemony Snicket books. Have you ever heard of those? I'm so proud of you for all the great reading you are doing and all the fun you are having!!

Alex and Matthew, boy, are you guys having fun this summer too! Camp sounds really fun, Alex and Matthew, way to go with all the boogie boarding and fun in the water. Camp Crystal sounds really fun too. I've never been there. Do you think I should go? What do you do there? Keep up that great reading, Alex, I'm so proud of you!!!
Well guys, Mr. J and I had to change our plans so we didn't make it to the beach after all. We did lots of kayaking though!! We went to a beautiful state park called Rainbow Springs State Park. It was very pretty and we had a great time kayaking along the river. We actually saw two otters, a water snake and lots of great fish and birds. On the way back to the beginning of the river, we got caught in a bad rain storm. It was raining so hard that we couldn't see in front of us!! It started to stop and then I turned around to tell Mr. J that the rain wasn't too bad and it started again!!! It was even harder the second time and it almost flipped us out of our boat!!! The rain started to slow down again and I told Mr. J that I wasn't going to say anything about the rain this time and then it started to rain harder on us again!!! Can you believe that???? We got caught in the rain three times!!! All in all, we had a great time together this weekend and I can't wait for this next weekend!!!

Yes Mrs J I liked the movie UP alot. I am so glad you and Mr J made it thru the rains! Wow how scary! I think we will start having more storms so we will be careful when we are out too.We are going to swimming lessons now. I read two books today with my OT Justin> he comes to the house. Disney ones of course but Mama is working on others ;)

ReplyDeleteI had a big week going to swimming lessons every evening. I can now tread water, hold my breath underneath, kick some and float a little. I will now go every day for the next 6 weeks in the daytime with Mama and the Adaptive Aquatics.
Today I went to see the FREE Shrek 3, I only got up to run once and came right back when asked, yes can you believe it?!! I watched the whole thing( I had seen it before at home but it was neat on the bigger screen). Then we met up with friends that were in other movies and went to Steak and Shake for fries and ice cream, Then I went to Publix, Then to Childrens Place for new shirts, and Payless for new shoes/sandals. They measured my foot and I let them. I wear 2 1/2 now, Mama says thats big! I carried my own new shoes to the car all the way through the mall. Then my Mom went to the Chiropractor and I went with her. I was a little tired by then but she wasn't there for long. Then we went home to rest for an hour and read and then we went to swimming lessons after we picked up Dustin from school. I did great in swimming I was in the 13ft water so I couldnt touch the bottom so I needed to practice by treading water.
Then we all( our swimmer friends) met some of our other friends at Satchels for pizza. I ate gluten free cheese pizza. This is the first time in my life I have had pizza and it was good, Mama has also been making me meatballs at home. This is the first meat I have had in 4 years and now the first pizza in my life. Mama is excited that I am growing up and trying new things. Hope you have a Happy and safe 4th and your puppies dont get too scared with all the booms. I will let you know what I do over the weekend later, I know this is already a long day! I miss you.

Yesterday I read a book called A Straw for Two.
I have heard of the Lemony Snicket books. My mom and I have listened to many of the books on tape in the car.
Next Tuesday I have a swim team meat. We are racing Haile. We might do relays.
On the 4th of July I went to Ocala. My cousins were there and my Aunt and Uncle live there. It was a lot of fun!!

ReplyDeleteI have been busy with swimming lessons. This weekend we went on Saturday to our land on the Peace River. We had a Wendy's picnic and my Dad mowed the mile-long grass road we have. Then it stormed and we watched Planet Earth and Blue Planet DVDs in the truck while it rained., It was fun. We went to Lakeland for dinner at Outback and then watched fireworks on the drive home on the country roads until we got back on I-75 at Lake Panasoffkee.We got home at midnight. I was tired! Sunday we rested.
