Getting ready for the beach!!

Howdy, Friends!!
Wow, I am so impressed with all the neat things you are doing this summer! Conrad, you seem to be having so much fun at camp and I sure hope you will bring pictures for all of us to see when school starts again in August!! Camp sounds so exciting... do they let teachers go to camp? I would sure love to go!!!
Katherine and Savannah, it sure sounds like you are having a great summer too!! Going swimming is a perfect way to cool off in this heat and get some good exercise at the game time!! Way to go, girls!!!
Mr. J and I are going to the beach this weekend. We hope that there are good waves so that we can go boogie boarding. Have any of you friends been boogie boarding before? Our puppies, Ollie and Ernie are going with us too!! The puppies love the beach!!

Well, friends, keep having fun and continue to tell me all about the exciting things you are doing at home or on vacation. Tell me all about the good books you are reading and the fun experiments you are doing too!!

Talk to you again soon!
Love,
Mrs. J

  2. Dear Mrs. J,

Have a great time at the beach! The Cupoli's love the beach and hope to get in some boogie boardng in later in July! I have been at camp at Sun Country for the past few weeks - so far my favorite activities have been karate and swimming. We have have had three cool field trips - skate station and the butterfly museum (and 1 more that my mom can't remember!). My sister and I are heading to Pittsburgh, PA to visit our grandma next week - we'll go to an amusement park, the zoo and spend time with our family. I'll make sure to tell you all about when I return!

    Have fun at the beach!!!

Check me out putting some kicking to good use on YouTube, Go to Followers on your blog , click the Mangocat, go to my YouTube and you can see our videos. You can see me in the front with my UF helpers and Dustin in the back with his harem of followers floating on his back. He looks like he is working real hard dont you think?

  4. Alex and Matthew have been having an awesome summer! Alex is going to Brentwood School for their Summer Fun program and taking swimming lessons there. She has made all kinds of art projects and made some new friends, too. But she misses her Multi-Age buddies :(
Matthew is at Camp crystal and having a blast! He has learned to knee board, and hopes to get onto skis before too long! He is also perfecting his Archery skills and learning to sail! We all went to the beach last weekend, and Matthew did so well on the boogie board that he hopes to ask Santa for a surf board as well this year :) We'll see...
Both Alex and Matthew have been reading. Alex's favorite books right now are by Dick King-Smith. Other favorite titles are The Mysterious Benedict Society, The Doll People, and The Elevator People. Alex and Mom went to Littlewood reading night on Tuesday and Alex did an AR test too.
We are having a great time, and hope everyone else is too! Thanks, Mrs. J for keeping in touch! :)

  5. Hi Mrs J, Hope you had fun at the beach. We went to meet Mamas friend from Miami, in Sarasota. We went to my favorite restaurant, Buffalo Wild Wings (it has lots of TVs) and then to see UP in 3D y Pixar, it was good. It took me and Dustin a while to get used to the glasses but when we did it was cool. We SAT and watched the whole movie only getting up a few times briefly, That is good for us! Then we went to Siesta Key beach, Mama and Daddys favorite where they were married. The sand is like sugar they say but it is really like baking flour. I played in the surf for two hours, I love waves and there were big ones for the Gulf because there is a weather storm in the Yucatan. Dustin made sandcastles with Daddy he loves to do that. Then we went to Turtles on Little Sarastoa Bay to eat dinner. We saw a Great Blue Heron, he was neat. Then we drove home, it was late like 11 when we got here. This morning bright and early we went blueberry picking at 830. We got two buckets. I havent tried them yet but I might.
Hope to hear from you about your trip soon! Love, Conrad

  6. Dear Mrs.J,
I have been boogie boarding before. It is so much fun. Which beach are you going to?

Saturday my mom and I went to Do Art. She made a plate for my Uncle Paul. Because his birthday is coming up. I made a bowl that is for my cereal.

Yesterday I finished a book called Stink The Incredible Shrinking Kid. It was awesome.

    Love,
    Katherine
